= FLOP 67 Editorial =

Fellow readers,

I greet you again in a tough time. In spite of all the difficulties, we have finally managed to compile issue 67 and publish it in the jubilee year 2022.

Thanks to all the authors of the content and other persons who helped with the preparation.

A new editorial team, in the sense of a group actively collaborating on FLOP, has not yet been formed. If you are interested in being involved in such work, let me know.

== Happy and unhappy news ==

In June, we marked a significant anniversary - 50 years since the founding of the first company called Atari.

This glory unfortunately did not live to see a prominent member of the Czech-Slovak Atari scene - Ľubo Roba, known under the nickname -XI-. He died at the end of February after several months of illness. More information about him, including a memorial slideshow, can be found in this issue of FLOP.

On the other hand, the positive news is that after a two-year hiatus caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, some retrocomputer events have started to resume, including our Atariada. Although, it must be said, with Lubo it would have been happier...

So what did we manage to prepare for the readers?

FLOP 67 brings three technical articles:

Last time you could already see the work of the new game creator - Zdeněk Zubr (Zdenda). This time he send us four.

List of Zdenda's games:

This time Ella (also known as Aki) contributed with her small creation, the game Blobhunt.

As a result of this overload, we had to format the B side to double density.

I mustn't forget the interesting intro, that R0ger created for us (including the music). By the way, try to press the M key during the intro and wait a few seconds.

R0ger is also the author of the slideshow you can find on disc D. It's a separately bootable floppy with 6 photos of Ľubo Roba, which automatically rotate on the screen. This is our way of remembering Ľubo and additionally thanking him for all the good he did for Atari.

== Cooperators ==

Apart from the authors of articles and software, the following people contributed to this issue of FLOP magazine:

If you would like to be involved in the preparation of future issues of FLOP, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be glad to receive high quality lyrics, music, pictures, games, demos or other software. Texts can be in Czech and/or English. Proofreaders, translators, graphic designers, testers or other members of the editorial team are also welcome.

We expect issue 68 to be published in the second half of 2023. The deadline for submissions will be the end of June 2023.

In any case, have a great year and enjoy your Atari.

We look forward to seeing you in the next issue
